Class Visits

Faculty and Student Study of the Collection

  • Fashion photography students discuss Helmut Newton photographs with Professor Tony Ward.

Penn’s University Art Collection serves as an invaluable resource for teaching and research across disciplines, and is especially important for faculty and students in the Departments of the History of Art and Fine Arts. While much of the University Art Collection is displayed throughout campus, the Office of the Curator offers object-based learning through its onsite study program. Select prints, photography, and works on paper are available for study. Penn faculty across disciplines are invited to schedule a class visit to view primary objects in our study area.

To arrange a class visit, contact The Office of the Curator. Visits must be arranged at least two weeks in advance.
