Normally fashioned from stainless steel and bronze, Porter's sculptures explore themes of materials and geometry, or what Porter calls "the language of geometrics." Crafting simple and yet compelling contrasts between angles and materials (such as this rusted outside with the reflective semicircular cut-out) Porter plays with light, using it as a changing medium that shifts with one's gaze.
