Patrick Caulfield’s bold and graphic works often incorporate still life elements into a pared-down interior. Caulfield rejected the label of “Pop Artist” throughout his career, considering himself a "formal" artist. He once said, “I simply try to make a logical, a seemingly logical space that could exist."
