Art Match FAQs
Who is eligible?
All current Penn Students, living in Penn residential housing who will be on campus for a full academic year are eligible.
How are matches made?
Students who have completed the Art Match Google Form and ranked their artwork choices are selected at random.
How many works can I borrow?
A student can be matched with one artwork per academic year.
Does it cost anything?
The rental fee for one academic year is $20 (CASH ONLY) but sliding scale rental fees are also available. The rental fee goes to offset the cost of framing, hardware, and programming.
How long do I get to keep the work?
Each Art Match lasts for one academic year. If you are matched with a work, you’ll receive an email detailing the pick-up and drop-off dates and locations.
Where do I put the artwork in my room?
You’ll want to find a spot away from direct sunlight. Works cannot be placed in bathrooms, kitchens, or other common areas. Someone from your College House will be in touch with you to arrange for installation.
How should I care for the artwork?
Each work will come with a care kit and an art handling guide.
