Art Conservation
The Office of the Curator oversees the care and conservation of Penn’s University Art Collection. While the Office of the Curator makes arrangements for art conservation on campus, individual departments are responsible for all conservation costs, including art handling fees. All art conservation is contracted through art conservation professionals. We work with a variety of art conservators with specializations in paintings, works on paper, textiles, and decorative arts. If you are a Penn faculty or staff member and wish to inquire about conserving loaned artworks, please contact our staff to discuss options.
